St. Andrews to Homosassa

We spent six days at St. Andrews State Park at Panama City Beach enjoying the weather and beaches. We took some long walks along the beach and around Alligator Lake, but so far, we haven’t seen any Alligators!

Yesterday, we drove five hours to get to Homosassa, FL, which will be our new home for the next couple of weeks. On our way here, we stopped by Walmart and picked up a couple of bicycles. It was a challenge for Ken to get them up on the RV ladder rack we bought and I wasn’t much help to him, other than being a gopher and providing moral support. In many ways, this is like a real life episode of Amazing Race, LOL.

Because of our Walmart stop and the change to Eastern time, we arrived at the RV park after dark and the office had closed but they left a packet of instructions for us. Ken did a great job of pulling in and I helped with hook up (we have that stuff down to a science). This RV is a very easy to set up and go!

Things to do today… Laundry, organize car storage, crochet, bicycle ride. Life is good!

  2. Dorothy,
Bonnie Koetting is in Homassassa with her mother in law. I will be down there next Tuesday for a week. Maybe we can hook up and play some golf.

      1. If you come at Phoenix from the south, you can stop at Organ Pipe National Monument. It’s a revelation.
