As of May 14th, we have officially been on the road for three months now, and loving it!
On the drive from Sebastian to St. Augustine we decided to change RV resorts and so Pellicer Creek was out and Bulow RV Resort was in. This change put us midway between visiting with our friends the Stafford’s at Ponce Inlet and our next planned stop in St. Augustine.
Bulow has an interesting history as an old plantation, so we did some exploring while we were there. We also couldn’t resist driving the 40 miles north to get a sneak peak at St. Augustine and re-live a little of our own history by having dinner at Saltwater Cowboys, which we first visited 15 years ago.
Next, we drove south for the weekend with Mark and Laurie Stafford at their beautiful new home in Ponce Inlet. They had the guest house all ready for us! We had a great time with them and spent a pool day a few miles away in Daytona Beach at Laurie’s mom’s place. It was a real treat to visit with Virginia (Ginny) – she is a doll!
It was a good visit, but we were also happy to get back to Bulow and make sure everything was still good with the RV, and it was moving day!
Next up… Anastasia State Park/St. Augustine, FL, so stay tuned for another blog update soon! Until then, be happy and be kind to one another… Both are required for living together in small quarters, lol.

Great blog and awesome pics. Glad you had a chance to see the Staffords.
