Bulow Plantation and Ponce Inlet

As of May 14th, we have officially been on the road for three months now, and loving it!

On the drive from Sebastian to St. Augustine we decided to change RV resorts and so Pellicer Creek was out and Bulow RV Resort was in. This change put us midway between visiting with our friends the Stafford’s at Ponce Inlet and our next planned stop in St. Augustine.

Bulow has an interesting history as an old plantation, so we did some exploring while we were there. We also couldn’t resist driving the 40 miles north to get a sneak peak at St. Augustine and re-live a little of our own history by having dinner at Saltwater Cowboys, which we first visited 15 years ago.

Next, we drove south for the weekend with Mark and Laurie Stafford at their beautiful new home in Ponce Inlet. They had the guest house all ready for us! We had a great time with them and spent a pool day a few miles away in Daytona Beach at Laurie’s mom’s place. It was a real treat to visit with Virginia (Ginny) – she is a doll!

It was a good visit, but we were also happy to get back to Bulow and make sure everything was still good with the RV, and it was moving day!

Next up… Anastasia State Park/St. Augustine, FL, so stay tuned for another blog update soon! Until then, be happy and be kind to one another… Both are required for living together in small quarters, lol.

Like any visit away, it’s always good to be home 😀

Heading over to Ponce Inlet to see the Stafford’s!
Heavenly drive!
We had a great couple of days with Mark and Laurie!!
Beautiful home and pool!
The (Daytona) beach is just beyond the pool. We hung at the pool due to adverse beach conditions. Yes, even paradise has its days, LOL.

Our second visit to Saltwater Cowboys restaurant. The first time was 15 years ago… We figured it was time for Kenny to get a new souvenir t-shirt!
