Today marks the last day of a four month vacation in Florida and the beginning of a five month volunteer position in Folkston, Georgia at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.

While we are ready for another new adventure, we will miss spending time with the Stafford’s and Ginny, who we love like family.

These last months have been wonderful! We attended Sarah and Caleb’s wedding, volunteered at Keystone State Park, enjoyed a very happy Thanksgiving with visiting family at the Stafford’s, and spent Christmas visiting with family via FaceTime and then with Mark, Laurie, Michael, Ginny and Gucci in Ponce Inlet. (Laurie, the egg nog and meal were to die for!) All-in-all, our time here has been unforgettable and very special.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we also upgraded the RV while we were in Daytona! We traded the 30′ ACE for a new 36′ Fleetwood Bounder and it is awesome. It is definitely an upgrade, and beautiful inside with lots more floor space and nicer features (full sized residential refrigerator) and it rides smoother, too. I will include some photos 😊

We hope all of you had a family-filled Christmas and we wish you a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

With love,

Dorothy & Ken

Wow, four months already, time sure flies. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Holidays and are doing well.

Love the new motorhome….it looks fantastic. You two will definitely enjoy the extra living and cooking space.

Good luck at Okefenokee, I look forward to hearing about this next adventure.

    Take care,

    1. Robin, I always look forward to your comments on our posts! Just today we mentioned your trip to Glacier and the bear sightings you told us about… apparently, we need to get Bear spray for Okefenokee!
Happy New Year to you and Jerry… Hope to see you both when we are there in May 😘😊
